St Denys'
The Norman church of St. Denys' stands proudly on a hill in the centre of the village. It is made of ironstone, locally quarried with a delightfully warm hue.
FOSD
The Friends of St. Denys' (FOSD ) was set up in 1997 to maintain, restore and preserve, for the benefit of the public the fabric of St. Denys', Eaton. The money raised by FOSD over many years has been used to preserve the fabric of the church, for new chairs and upgrades.
FOSD is a small committee of villagers (7 people) but we always need new members. If you are interested in joining our happy band and wish for more information about how we operate, please contact

Eaton InSpired
Our beautiful church needs our help. A survey in 2022 showed significant areas of erosion and damage to the stonework in the tower, spire and the south east corner. As a consequence it was place on the Historic England At Risk register
Following assessment we need a total of £390k to save our church for the future. To date we've raised over £315,000 but we still need your help. Whilst we're applying for grants, every £ counts and if you can make a donation that would be appreciated! Please contact Rev Sue Bradley to make a donation or see the QR codes in he church
News
We are really pleased to share that we have secured £250,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund towards the Eaton Inspired project. This will enable the restoration of the tower and spire and SE corner of the S aisle. We're also planning to install an accessible toilet and there will be a program of activity researching the history of ironstone and how this has impact the ecology, lives and history of the village. Many thanks to the players of the National Lottery for making this all possible
